2020: Kangdipure’s “Triple Blessings”
The year 2020 was an extraordinary one for everyone—and for businesses as well. A sudden pandemic upended our daily lives and disrupted our work, compelling us to reexamine the meaning of life. Through a mix of hope and perseverance, we learned to be more tolerant, to cherish what truly matters, to abide by rules and regulations, and to cultivate a deep sense of reverence. Our nation proved its strength: under the wise guidance of the government, the entire population united as one to weather the storm. Gradually, we returned to normalcy, and businesses began to recover as well.
The year 2020 was no easy feat for businesses. Amid such an extraordinary and challenging environment, all employees of Condipure, under the leadership of the company’s management, united as one and worked tirelessly, securing three significant achievements in succession—a true “triple blessing.”
First Good News: Awarded the National High-Tech Enterprise Title
Second Highlight: Awarded the Ningbo Municipal Engineering Technology Center
Third Good News: The Ningbo Municipal Major Special Project for Science and Technology Innovation 2025, “Research on Key Technologies for the Manufacturing of High-End Molds for Punching Nuclear Fuel Assembly Grid Strips and Their Industrialization,” Has Been Officially Approved for Initiation.
Since its establishment in 2018, Ningbo Kangdipure has, in less than three years, achieved the remarkable feat of being recognized as a High-Tech Enterprise and designated as a Municipal Engineering Center—an accomplishment that is particularly noteworthy. In particular, the 2020 Major Special Project represents a significant milestone: Ningbo Kangdipure, in collaboration with China National Nuclear Corporation Baotou and the Shanghai Institute of Nuclear Engineering, has jointly undertaken the research and development initiative, underscoring its exceptional importance. This 2020 Major Project builds upon and further advances the AP1000 program. Led by Ningbo Kangdipure Mould Technology Co., Ltd., the project brings together China National Nuclear Corporation Baotou Nuclear Fuel Elements Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Institute of Nuclear Engineering Research & Design Co., Ltd. to form a joint team dedicated to establishing a domestically developed AP1000 fuel assembly grid strip processing and inspection production line capable of industrial-scale, mass production. The project’s objectives and anticipated outcomes include: breaking foreign monopolies by developing domestically produced AP1000 grid strip progressive stamping dies with industrial-scale production capacity and completing the construction of the corresponding production line; successfully developing and validating the strip manufacturing process; establishing an independent domestic capability for supplying AP1000 nuclear fuel grid strips; and effectively substituting imported products.
Saying goodbye to the tumultuous and momentous year of 2020, we welcome 2021—a year in which all our aspirations are fulfilled and every path ahead is smooth and unobstructed. Kangdipure will continue to forge ahead with unwavering determination. Preliminary plans for 2021:
1. Leveraging our existing technological foundation, strive to reach a friendly cooperation agreement with China General Nuclear Power Group;
2. Introduce new production systems to build a digital factory;
3. Plan and apply for the designation of a provincial engineering technology center;

On February 20, 2021, a delegation led by Mr. Zheng Ruifa, President of the Ningbo Entrepreneurs Association, accompanied by Secretary-General Wang Boning and relevant leaders from the District Bureau of Economy and Information Technology and the District Entrepreneurs Association, conducted on-site visits and inspections of enterprises following the Spring Festival, paying courtesy calls to the headquarters and Kangdipure. On the afternoon of August 27, 2020, the Ningbo Federation of Enterprises, the Ningbo Entrepreneurs Association, and the Ningbo Industrial Economy Federation solemnly hosted the “Ningbo Entrepreneurs’ Day and Top 100 Enterprises Awards Ceremony” at the Nanyuan Hotel, under the theme “Uphold Steadfast Resolve to Pursue Enduring Success; Strengthen Internal Capabilities to Achieve New Breakthroughs.”
